Luna is sweetest little thing in the world. She's a year and a half old blue heeler girl, who has been learning basic obedience in our prison training program. Luna is very petite and charming. Rescue Me ID: 17-06-26-00323Tippy (male)

Pit Bull Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Adult Women Only
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Can I win the title to your heart? My name is Tippy, I'm about 5 yrs old, people say I'm kind of a lab pittie mix. I'm strong for my size of about 55 pounds, think of me as a doggy bantamweight. So, what's my story? I'm keeping the details to myself, but with a few battle scars I've had some wins and some losses. I'm good natured and willing to put the past behind me. Some days my confidence could be better, but when I get to know you (like in 20 minutes) I love to snuggle and am eager to please. I still have lots of energy and keep myself in condition running zoomies, playing ball and taking care of those pesky stuffed toys, so a fenced ... (Read More)yard would be awesome! Canines With a Cause has been working with me on basic obedience and so my leash manners get better. They will give free continued training to my new family! I don't much care for other dogs and if it runs from me I like to chase it so no cats and I need to be walked on leash only. Loud noises and fast people (like kids) can scare me, I'm hoping for a mom or dad who will be patient while I learn to trust and know I won't be abandoned again. Oh yeah, if things get too dramatic, my head shakes a little. The vets have checked me thoroughly and said it's idiopathic, meaning there is no medical reason, and other bully breed cousins have the same issue. The spells last only a few minutes and I like to be cuddled until it's over. I was hoping to have a career as a PTSD companion for someone, but I'd be even happier as your only, faithful pet. Rescue Me ID: 17-06-13-00074Hopper (male)

Lab Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Very High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

I am a big guy who loves running and jumping after tennis balls and flirt poles! I'm very curious and I love to train, one of my trainers at Canines With A Cause says i'm very smart and catch on to things quickly. I get along with people, although young children are not something I am comfortable with. I can live with other dogs after I get to know them. I can get really excited about seeing other dogs when I'm on walks. However, if my handler keeps me focused I do really well with that. This will need further training, which Canines with a Cause offers to our adopters. I haven't been around too many cats but I will probably chase one if I ... (Read More)saw it. I know sit, down, shake, and I am kennel trained and do pretty well in it, I sometimes bark when people leave, though for a short period of time. I need someone who is active and likes to go on adventures! Hopper has been practicing basic obedience in our prison training program, he still needs someone to continue basic training so he has good manners. He's neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Hopper's adoption fee is $200. (Less)
